What's the difference?

SELF-CARE YOGA

The Focus of my Self-Care Yoga is on Mobility, Balance, Coordination and Body Systems.

We do so by:

1. Loosening our Joints.

2. Stimulating our Body Fluids.

3. Caring for our Feet, Pelvic Floor, Lymph nodes, Spinal Health.

4. Breathing to either calm or stimulate our energy levels.

YOGA CONDITIONING

The intention in Yoga Conditioning is to maintain or gain strength.

Our focus and efforts are mostly on the Muscular body not exclusively though.

The intention is to reclaim Strength and Autonomy in your everyday life

and

lessen the level of pain in the body by building arms, back, legs and core strength.

An important practice to counteract the loss of bone density

and

feel better in our bodies.

YIN YOGA

This is a slow-paced type of yoga where we hold gentle poses for a longer time to improve the suppleness of our connective tissues.

Rooted in Taoist philosophy and Chinese Traditional Medicine,

Yin yoga is about:

clearing/ stimulating our energy channels (meridians)

empowering our Yin -Feminine Energy of receptivity

and

cultivating our inner stillness.

There will be a maximum of 3 participants per class in the studio.

Please book early to ensure the course runs, as a minimum of 2 participants is required.

IMPORTANT NOTES -

Everyone is welcome—men and women.

A minimum of two participants is required to hold classes.

I have a large dog, so those with pet allergies or fears of dogs may not find this suitable.
